    A key component of strategic planning includes performing a reconnaissance of your roadmap and destination. Much like intelligence gathered prior to a military operation, quality information is necessary to equip business leaders with the knowledge needed to make intelligent and informed decisions. As we see in Numbers chapter 13 and Numbers 14:1-10, Moses followed God’s order to send out reconnaissance teams to gather intelligence about the land God granted them so that Moses would have information concerning the strength of opposing forces, the livability of the land and other vital information.
